Energage is looking for a Business Writer to work with our Research and Data Analyst to take numerical data and create a narrative with these findings. We are looking for someone to join us on our mission of making the world a better place to work together!

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Produce first-class copy on deadline
  • Write company articles, blog posts and press releases on key insights and perspectives pertaining to our field of expertise (employee engagement and workplace culture)
  • Partner with Energage R&D, research, consulting, marketing and others with various marketing communication activities
  • Be the writing partner who works with content experts from across the organization – CEO, CTO, CFO, CPO, EVP Sales, VP Consulting
  • Serve as the writing expert who can synthesize complex issues, themes, strategic direction, market dynamics and technical details
  • Create documents that are clear, thoughtful, coherent, concise, consistent and accurate in voice, tone, and formatting
  • Ability to create social media and blog posts to distribute our company communications
  • Professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact at different levels of the company
  • Bring a keen editorial eye, agile mind and storytelling sensibility to all communications materials

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (journalism, research, economics)
  • Experience in business writing and executive communications strategy
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and proof-reading skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to interact with executives with confidence, and to provide advice on their communications that reflect an understanding of their business and leadership style
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze information to provide clear and accurate narratives
  • Proven experience balancing short-term requests with longer-term projects
  • Ability to have an in-depth understanding of target audiences
  • Writing samples will be requested
