Sales Development Representative

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) position will be located in our Exton, PA headquarters and will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Sales.   Your role will be to serve on our Enterprise Sales team in partnering with assigned Enterprise Account Executives(EAE).   You will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads through cold calling, social media prospecting, marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication and sales skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from the first contact through discovery and qualification to hand-off to your EAE colleagues.   This role is a vital position in our sales organization.   If you are motivated and results-driven and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential customers through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential customers
  • Work closely with prospective customers to fully qualify the opportunity and position Workplace Dynamics as a potential solution.  
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with internal colleagues and serve as a member of our Enterprise Sales Team in supporting new business development
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Facilitating a strong sales handoff process with the assigned Enterprise Account Executive.   Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and EAEs.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
  • Networking and attending key events and tradeshows, where applicable. 

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of proven work experience as a Sales/ Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive in the HR professional services or SAAS space.
  • Collaborating with marketing and business development to target and prospect new opportunities
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • A strong hunter mentality and familiarity with software tools and technology
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collegial team environment
